Zoya: Storm & Trixie

I can’t believe I’m JUST getting to these two polishes- they were part of my US haul back in November, yikes! These were part of a set of 3 minis (Storm, Trixie, and Ziv), and I really had my eyes on Storm. Everything else was just a bonus for me. I already tried out Ziv, you can read my review here.

As for the other two, I really like how they paired up for this manicure. The bright white-silver of Trixie works well as an accent nail color, tying in to the shiny micro-glitter Storm has. These two definitely had different textures. Storm wasn’t a big surprise, a black base with tiny specs of holographic glitter that came out opaque in two coats. Trixie on the other hand was very similar to Ziv, being a foil-finish polish. You need to work just a little quicker, and make sure paint strokes are smooth and even to get the best look from this polish. I’m absolutely smitten with this combo, and couldn’t be happier with the look. Definitely one to write down in the books as a ‘must-repeat’ look.
