A look into beauty, that doesn't harm our furry friends
Just thought I’d fill you all in on the foundation I’ve been reaching for the most. For having dry flakes because of acne, you’d think I would hate a powder, right? Thats usually the case, and THAT’S why Tarte’s Amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation is so amazing!
Now I don’t think this foundation is full coverage, even if you build it up. Personally I’d say it’s more of a light-medium foundation, depending how much powder you buff on to your skin. I love that I can play around in different places, applying more around the center of my face, and gradually apply with a lighter hand as I move out wards. Also, for it being a powder, it really isn’t messy at all! The unique packaging has a netting where you press your brush against, and it picks up the loose powder. If I get a lot of powder on my brush, I just dab in a couple places on my face, and go to town buffing it in. Something about buffing feels sooooo good- like you know it’s going to stay on your face. I use this with the correlating airbrush foundation kabuki brush Tarte has- it really is a perfect combo.
There are tons of colors to choose from, with names that actually help you determine what would be best for you (how light/dark your skin is, along with your undertones. I’m currently fair-light neutral). I would highly suggest getting a demo done at an Ulta or Sephora store and truly wear it for a day. You’d think it gets cakey as the day goes on, but it’s the complete opposite! Right before I wash my face, I am so impressed by how well it still looks on my skin. Such smooth, flawless coverage that till looks like my skin. Seriously y’all, this foundation is a little piece of heaven ❤ Have you tried it? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
