Blushing Biddies

A look into beauty, that doesn't harm our furry friends

Benjabelle Daisy Brush Tree

I’m not the kinda gal who looks forward to washing her brushes out. Usually I’m fully aware that I need to, but I try to put it off for as long as I can. By that, I mean when I start noticing some nasty acne popping up, ew. However, thanks to my handy-dandy Daisy brush tree from Benjabelle, I feel like I can get clean brushes back into my collection faster than before.

I don’t know why this hasn’t become more well-known in the beauty community, but this product is just ingenious. Instead of drying your brushes flat (** preferable with a slight tilt down from the ferrule), you can now hang them in the tree so they will remain vertical for the entire time it dries. The fact that water is going straight down the bristles instead of at an angle results in a faster drying time, and pretty much a 0% chance of any liquid going inside the ferrule, where all the adhesive for the bristles reside.

Installation is pretty easy:

Yup, it’s just 3 pieces

The two legs slide/cross together, and then you lay the top piece on top and lock it in place. Easy peasy!

Once you have it assembled, you can insert your brushes from the bottom up, keeping them perfectly vertical. This also could be used as a storage method too, not just for drying. Keep in mind that with just 3 flat pieces, the tree can be disassembled and stored easily too.

After a deep cleanse, the drying process in action.

Benjabelle offers other tree options as well, which differentiate in how big the brush holder holes are and how many there are. I went with Daisy, which can accommodate 8 small brushes, 4 medium brushes, and 2 large brushes. If you are a brush fanatic, the Sunflower has space for 4 large brushes, 6 medium and 16 small brushes. Plus, all the trees can be ordered in either black, pink, or white. My order was processed quickly, and shipped within a week. I ordered directly from their site because I found a coupon online from a beauty guru, but they also can be purchased through Amazon. If you’re outside the US, don’t fret! Check out their Authorized Resellers Page and see if they have options were you live. I hope you can get your hands on one of these. It’s not just a helpful tool in drying your brushes, but it’s an investment in the longevity of your brushes as well!

Such a cool product! I’d definitely like to get one at some point. I don’t have a good place to put them after washing so I always knock them into my sink since I have to just leave them lying down all around it haha

I really can’t praise this product enough, it’s such a no-brainier kinda thing I don’t know why it hasn’t been popping up more in the beauty community. Make sure to search for a coupon, they’re out there somewhere!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
