A look into beauty, that doesn't harm our furry friends
I’m such a goofball- I feel like I’ve already talked about these lipsticks enough, but I haven’t written a proper blog post about them yet! *face palm* I’ve had these two colors for probably over a month, and they easily have been the most-worn colors on my lips. Behold, The Body Shop’s Color Crush Shine lipsticks! *cue heavenly chorus* I have the colors 18 (l) and 15(r), and truly I can’t pick a favorite between the two, they’re both soo lovely. 18 is the hybrid of a coral/peachy pink, where as 15 is a light pop of a cool-toned pink. The formula of these are nowhere near opaque. Rather, they are a sheer, light coat of color that is surprisingly moisturizing on the lips. It’s almost as if they’re a lipstick version of a lipgloss- bonus points for no stickiness!
It’s a little hard to tell what color is which from the pictures above, but they’re really pleasing. You could build them up to be a slightly bolder color, but I like wearing them at about the sheerness shown above. Definitely the perfect stepping stone to getting oneself accustomed to a more vibrant lip color. Plus, no shimmer! There is one other color that doesn’t have any shimmer, #14, and I might need to get my hands on it as well. Are you tempted by the Color Crush Shines now? :3 Definitely keep your eyes peeled for a sale, usually The Body Shop has some sort of promotion on!
