A look into beauty, that doesn't harm our furry friends
“Nothing is more satisfying than being indulged, and this dusty-rose blush will ensure that you have all the boys attending to you. Its subtle shimmer catches the eye while plum undertones provide a glow that is oh-so-natural whether you are pool-side, beach-side or bed-side.”
The last item in my brand focus this week is theBalm’s Cabana Boy blush, and I think I saved the best for last. Kept in the same cardboard packaging as the Instain blushes, CabanaBoy comes out with a slight bit more product totaling at .3oz (-AND- it’s cheaper than the Instains, which we’ve already mentioned how they were a better deal than Tarte’s Amazonian Clay…*nudge-nudge*). My best attempt at describing Cabana Boy is a satin (not matte) rosey-plum, with a hint of a golden sheen. It applies on beautifully, and feels like I’m just glowing from within. This is a unique color in my collection, as I tried finding any dupes in what I have and came up empty-handed:
Tarte’s Crave is way too pink to even come close to this- and I think that’s why CabanaBoy is soo unique. The idea of “plum undertones”, I don’t think other brands have really gone into that much depth into the color. So another round of applause for theBalm’s CabanaBoy– he’s unique, all-natural looking, and a keeper in my book. Have you found a dupe for CabanaBoy? Are you ready to snatch up this color?
theBalm CabanaBoy blush, $21; available online at thebalm.com, nordstrom.com, kohls.com (( I personally saved more than 50% when I purchased off of Hautelook))
P.S.: Sorry this week’s brand focus is soo short and not so-evenly-spaced throughout the week! I did actually purchase Mary-Lou Manizer, but it was the one product in my order that arrived broken D: Also, work has been very energy-draining, ugh! Hopefully I’ll be back to normal soon, but thank’s for understanding~! ❤
