Blushing Biddies

A look into beauty, that doesn't harm our furry friends

Geek Chic Haul

Sorry for being soo MIA in videos lately! The holiday season in retail equals… no free time.. and…just… *shudders*. But we’re past Christmas, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I actually spent some of my Christmas day filming videos to catch up, and one that’s been on the back burner for quite some time is my latest haul from Geek Chic. I decided to indulge in their newest themed collection from The Hunger Games, along with some other products in honor of Sailor Moon. How could I say no to these goodies?! This haul should prove helpful if you watched my brand focus video of Geek Chic , but were wondering about the other types of products I didn’t touch upon (apart from loose pigment eye shadows, they have lip gloss, lip stick, nail polish, blush, foundation, and solid perfume!).

Have you tried anything from Geek Chic yet? I definitely think they are a fun indie-brand to keep your eyes on!

Yay! I didn’t buy the whole HG collection, I bought Nuts & Volts and Mockingjay and then I just turned around and ordered two more shadows from the collection once the store reopened 🙂

So happy to see your video in my Youtube feed.

I enjoy your blog and really enjoy your videos. Might sound weird, but I like how long they are and hearing you talk. I like how you go into detail on what you’re showing that day, and since you do, I can hit play and listen as I do whatever task is at hand. I also like how your stance on cruelty-free products doesn’t waver.

Thanks for the videos, April. I’m always looking forward to them!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
