A look into beauty, that doesn't harm our furry friends
I’m seriously such a doofus- I thought I posted this already, but alas- it was sitting in my blog drafts! *face palm* Don’t worry though, this color is perfect for any time, and it’s part of Bite Beauty’s regular Luminous Creme Lipstick collection, so you can still get your hands on this pretty easily. If you’ve read the title, you know we’re focusing on Pepper today, and this is one of my go-to favorite colors. Not too light to be a bare nude, yet not too dark to be a real “statement” color. It just turns up the dial on your lips, from bare being a 0 right around the 5 area. Sephora’s site describes the color as a “dusty rose”, which I’m kinda on board for, but I think they’re missing the details of “warm” and almost leaning towards a slightly brown-brick color. Trust me, this isn’t just a rose pink! But also don’t be deceived my the bullet, the color is a bit sheerer (plus I think my photo is a tad warm as well. Ugh, accuracy!!).
I think this photo gives you a good idea of how warm it actually is (the photo below in the line-up is the most accurate out of all of these, just FYI!). On the left is just one swipe, and the right is with 3. You can see this in action in my Lippies I’m Loving video , it’s #4 (seems a little sheer, you could definitely build it up just a tad more though). Pepper is just as good as any other Luminous Creme lipstick I’ve tried- it’s super comfortable on the lips, and lasts for a decent amount of time (4 hrs appx) before any touch-ups are needed. It won’t wash your face out at all- if anything, I feel like this color does the same thing that bronzer usually does for people- it just brings a little “life” back to my face! This is one of my holy grail lipstick formulas and colors- what’s yours? <3<3
Bite Beauty Luminous Lipstick in “Pepper” $24; available at Sephora and Sephora.com
Also, just 2 extra bits worth mentioning~

Did you know- The caps for the full-sized Bite Beauty Luminous Creme lipsticks are actually different! They based the shapes off of how a lipstick bullet usually looks after wear for different colors. You can see the full description they have in the info box here , but to summarize- sharp angled tips are for reds, neutrals have a natural slant, pinks are curved, and berries come to a point. So if you’re like me and you have your collection lined up in a lipstick-holder, you can kinda guess what is what based on the tops :3
