A look into beauty, that doesn't harm our furry friends
Oh, how I made such bold declarations way back when of “I can’t spend any money on makeup, I’m going on a ban!“. Well, I think you’ve already come to the proper conclusion that I DID NOT stay true to that (although I was in it for a whole month before getting anything… *pats self on back*). Regardless, I was able to pick up this lil’ beauty at Nordstrom Rack for about 70% off, and I’m happy with adding it into my collection. Let’s just dive into the photos!
Although these two look very similar (both being matte is a plus!), there are some key differences between the two. One, the Chocolate Soleil powder is more of a cool tone (& smells like chocolate!), where the Bronzed and Poreless is just a tad bit warmer/”peachier”. Also, the Bronzed & Poreless has the same formula as the Primed & Poreless pressed powder, where it literally feels silky to the touch. I haven’t used this all over my face, but rather as as a way to give some warmth/glow is my skin tone is looking kinda flat. The Bronzed & Poreless formula has received a lot of rave reviews for actually minimizing the look of pores, but since I usually use this on the outer perimeters of my face, I haven’t noticed any difference. Between the two, I’ll reach for the C.S. if I want anything closer to a contour (although I NEVER go that far, just don’t need to get that in-depth with my makeup routine).
Were you able to pick up this lil’ gem at Nordstrom Rack? Or are you curious to give it a lil’ swatch in stores now? :3
